Assessment task 1, Part 3 - Australian Curriculum Standards.

Hello again, Below are the standards from the Australian Curriculum: Chinese that are covered by the first assessment task. NB: With apologies to the Year 9's, I'm measuring all of the classes with the standards expected for the Year 7 & 8 band, where Year 7 is the entry point to the language. This is because all classes are beginners this year. Term 2, 2018 - Assessment Task 1 Rubric

G'day everyone ( Nǐmen hǎo  你们好), Below is the rubric which I will be using to mark the first assessment task for this term. If you have any questions, I am more than happy to clarify what I am expecting from this task. The total possible score is 40 marks, which I will convert into a percentage score. China Tourism Brochure Due: Years 7A, 7B and 8  - Friday 4th May Year 9 - Friday 11th May Task: Design a tourism brochure for a destination in China. Your brochure must include information that a visitor to the area would expect. For example, a description of the place, places to see, activities to do, how to get there, and a survival word/phrase list. Requirements: You most certainly can use your computer to research and design your brochure, but the end product must take up a double sided A4 page.  Choose a destination (city or region). For example, Beijing, Shanghai, Xi'an, Tibet, Quanzhou, Hong Kong, Macau, Fujian Provence, Xianjiang.
